Nezapamćeni val prosvjeda preplavio je Kinu čiji su se građani diljem zemlje pobunili protiv oštrih restrikcija protiv covida-19, a neki su se otvoreno usudili pozvati na smjenu kineskog čelnika Xi Jinpinga.
- Odlazi Xi Jinping! Želimo odlazak Komunističke partije!, povikao je jedan prosvjednik u Šangaju, a snimka se dijeli na društvenim mrežama.
Prosvjeduje se u nekoliko višemilijunskih gradova u Kini, potaknuti katastrofalnim epilogom velikog požara u stambenoj zgradi u Xinjiangu.
Čini se da je požar, u kojem je poginulo 10 ljudi, djelovao kao katalizator za rasplamsavanje bijesa javnosti protiv strogih ograničenja nakon što je snimka otkrila da zbog lockdowna vatrogasci nisu na vrijeme stigli do žrtava.

U nedjelju je raspoređen veliki broj policijskih snaga na ulici Wulumuqi, koja je nazvana po Urumqiju, gdje se dan ranije bdjenje uz svijeće pretvorilo u prosvjede.
- Samo želimo osnovna ljudska prava. Ne smijemo napustiti domove bez testiranja. Nesreća u Xinjangu bila je okidač za prosvjede, rekao je 26-godišnjak u Šangaju za Guardian, koji je želio ostati anoniman.
- Ljudi nisu nasilni, ali ih policija hapsi bez razloga. I mene su pokušali zgrabiti, ali me gomila zgrabila za ruke i povukla kako bih mogao pobjeći.

U usporedbi s drugim zemljama Kina ima relativno male brojke zaraženih i umrlih od covida, ali vlasti tvrde da su stroge mjere nužne zbog brzine širenja zaraze u gusto naseljenoj zemlji i nedovoljnih zdravstvenih kapaciteta. Javni prosvjedi vrlo su rijetki u Kini, gotovo da je onemogućen prostor za neslaganje s politikom Xija i njegovih elita. Građani su dosad uglavnom frustraciju pokazivali na društvenim mrežama, koliko su uspjevali zbog cenzure.
U Pekingu su prosvjednici sarkazmom reagirali na zahtjeve policije. Prešutno su pristali da više neće skandirati ‘nema više karantene‘ i umjesto toga vikali ‘Želimo još lockdowna, želimo testove na covid‘.

- Rašireni prosvjedi u Kini nisu iznenađujući, predstavljaju prvi ozbiljan test apsolutne autokratske vladavine Xija, nakon što su neki prosvjednici izričito pozvali kineskog čelnika da odstupi.

Nezapamćeni val prosvjeda preplavio je Kinu čiji su se građani diljem zemlje pobunili protiv oštrih restrikcija protiv covida-19, a neki su se otvoreno usudili pozvati na smjenu kineskog čelnika Xi Jinpinga.
- Odlazi Xi Jinping! Želimo odlazak Komunističke partije!, povikao je jedan prosvjednik u Šangaju, a snimka se dijeli na društvenim mrežama.
Prosvjeduje se u nekoliko višemilijunskih gradova u Kini, potaknuti katastrofalnim epilogom velikog požara u stambenoj zgradi u Xinjiangu.
Čini se da je požar, u kojem je poginulo 10 ljudi, djelovao kao katalizator za rasplamsavanje bijesa javnosti protiv strogih ograničenja nakon što je snimka otkrila da zbog lockdowna vatrogasci nisu na vrijeme stigli do žrtava.
Kineske dionice oštro su pale jer su ulagači izrazili zabrinutost zbog utjecaja prosvjeda na drugo najveće gospodarstvo na svijetu.
U ranim jutarnjim satima ponedjeljka u Pekingu su se dvije skupine prosvjednika od najmanje 1000 ljudi okupile uzduž prometnog ‘prstena‘ blizu rijeke Liangma. Odbijali su se razići, prenosi Guardian.

U nedjelju je raspoređen veliki broj policijskih snaga na ulici Wulumuqi, koja je nazvana po Urumqiju, gdje se dan ranije bdjenje uz svijeće pretvorilo u prosvjede.
- Samo želimo osnovna ljudska prava. Ne smijemo napustiti domove bez testiranja. Nesreća u Xinjangu bila je okidač za prosvjede, rekao je 26-godišnjak u Šangaju za Guardian, koji je želio ostati anoniman.
- Ljudi nisu nasilni, ali ih policija hapsi bez razloga. I mene su pokušali zgrabiti, ali me gomila zgrabila za ruke i povukla kako bih mogao pobjeći.
Do nedjelje navečer okupilo se puno ljudi u Šangaju, neki su se naguravali s policijom pokušavajući ih rastjerati. Prosvjednici su držali prazne listove papira u znak prosvjeda protiv cenzure. U subotu su u Šangaju ljudi skandirali ‘Ne želimo PCR testove, želimo slobodu‘.
U Wuhanu, gdje je prije gotovo tri godine izbila epidemija covida-19, snimke na društvenim mrežama svjedoče kako ljudi izlaze na ulice, probijaju metalne barikade, prevrću šatore za testiranje na covid i traže prekid lockdowna. Prosvjeduje se i u drugim gradovima, uključujući Lanzhou na sjeverozapadu. Tamo su stanovnici u subotu prevrnuli šatore za testiranje i razbili kabine, pokazuju objave na društvenim mrežama.

U usporedbi s drugim zemljama Kina ima relativno male brojke zaraženih i umrlih od covida, ali vlasti tvrde da su stroge mjere nužne zbog brzine širenja zaraze u gusto naseljenoj zemlji i nedovoljnih zdravstvenih kapaciteta. Javni prosvjedi vrlo su rijetki u Kini, gotovo da je onemogućen prostor za neslaganje s politikom Xija i njegovih elita. Građani su dosad uglavnom frustraciju pokazivali na društvenim mrežama, koliko su uspjevali zbog cenzure.
U Pekingu su prosvjednici sarkazmom reagirali na zahtjeve policije. Prešutno su pristali da više neće skandirati ‘nema više karantene‘ i umjesto toga vikali ‘Želimo još lockdowna, želimo testove na covid‘.
U ponedjeljak ujutro na cesti u Šangaju, gdje su tijekom vikenda održani veliki prosvjedi, postavljene su plave barikade, kao podsjetnik na događanja protekloga vikenda.
U tihom prosvjedu u nedjelju navečer, stotine građana u Šangaju su držali prazne listove papira, a neki su javno pozvali predsjednika Xija Jinpinga da odstupi.
U međuvremenu, organizirani su prosvjedi solidarnosti diljem svijeta. Okupili su se stanovnici Pariza, Amsterdama, San Francisca, Dublina, Toronta, Londona. Prosvjednici drže prazne bijele listove papira, što je simbol za cenzuru u Kini.
Profesor Ho-fung Ho, sociolog sa Sveučilišta Johns Hopkins u SAD-u, komentirao je da su nemiri zadnjih dana u Kini ‘ozbiljna situacija za predsjednika XI Jinpinga‘.

- Rašireni prosvjedi u Kini nisu iznenađujući, predstavljaju prvi ozbiljan test apsolutne autokratske vladavine Xija, nakon što su neki prosvjednici izričito pozvali kineskog čelnika da odstupi.
Profesor tvrdi da je Xi sebe "stjerao u kut" tijekom zadnje dvije godine provodeći strogu politiku nultog covida, kojoj se ne nazire kraj.
