Najveća šteta od svega je to što se neviđena hajka tada pokrenula na osnovi insinuacija i laži jer se nikada u Splitu i Solinu nisu trebale snimati scene s "malim đavlom" niti je dječak koji je glumio Damiena uopće trebao biti u Splitu, niti je trebao izlaziti iz groba sv. Dujma!

Meni je žao što se tada bez razloga digla tolika halabuka i takva nekontrolirana pobuna, a najglasniji su bili predstavnici Crkve. Nije mi jasno zašto nisu tražili da im pokažemo scenarij i vidjeli bi da ta priča sa sotonom koji izlazi iz groba sv. Dujma nema nikakve veze sa Solinom i Splitom i da se neće tu snimati – kazao je za Slobodnu Dalmaciju Mario Ivezić, scenograf i direktor tvrtke "Moj film", koja se nekada zvala "MHM Ivezić", a koja je u prosincu 2005. godine, radeći za američku filmsku kompaniju "20th Century Fox", organizirala postavljanje filmskog seta na lokalitetu Manastirine u Solinu za snimanje horor-filma "Omen 666".

Nakon što smo objavili da je splitski župan Blaženko Boban ministrici turizma Nikolini Brnjac kazao kako je prije petnaestak godina inscenirao paljenje scenografije kako bi uvjerio tadašnjeg ministra kulture da mora povući dozvole za snimanje zbog pobune naroda, nazvali smo Ivezića za komentar.

– Ma da, pratim evo, ne mogu vjerovati. Zapaljeno je tada oko 60-ak metara drvene scenografije, vjerojatno su to polili benzinom i zapalili. Ne sjećam se više jesmo li dobili ikakvo izvješće policije. Ne, nismo službeno prijavili nikakvu financijsku štetu, mi smo kao tvrtka tad bili samo usluga Amerikancima.

Sve smo radili po propisima, imali smo sve dozvole i od Ministarstva i od Arheološkog muzeja Split, odnosno Salona je trebala "glumiti" arheološko polje u Izraelu i na njemu je trebalo biti snimljeno samo nekoliko prolazaka dvojice glumaca. Na kraju smo te scene snimili u Italiji. Mi smo, kao tvrtka, imali štetu zbog neisplaćenih honorara jer stvar nije odrađena do kraja, a da je stvar dobro prošla, mi bismo sigurno radili još poslova za njih.

Sjećam se da redatelj nije mogao vjerovati kad smo mu javili da je zapaljen set. Znam da je "20th Century Fox" onda razmatrao tužbu protiv Hrvatske, mislili su tražiti čak dva milijuna dolara odštete, raspitivali su se, ali su na kraju odustali jer su shvatili da bi ih to sve više koštalo nego da puste cijelu priču – kaže Ivezić, dodajući kako je to vrijeme tada za njega bilo vrlo kritično i užasno.

– Meni je od početka bilo jasno i bio sam svjestan da netko iza toga stoji, da to nisu napravili revoltirani građani sami od sebe i da to nije bila nikakva spontana reakcija naroda. Ali, priznajem, nisam ni slutio tko bi mogao biti iza toga – kazao je Ivezić, inače sin poznatoga hrvatskog kazališnog i filmskog glumca Ilije Ivezića, koji u Dalmaciji ima "kultni status" zbog svoje uloge u serijalu "Prosjaci i sinovi", gdje je glumio Šunju.

Najveća šteta od svega je to što se neviđena hajka tada pokrenula na osnovi insinuacija i laži jer se nikada u Splitu i Solinu nisu trebale snimati scene s "malim đavlom" niti je dječak koji je glumio Damiena uopće trebao biti u Splitu, niti je trebao izlaziti iz groba sv. Dujma!

Meni je žao što se tada bez razloga digla tolika halabuka i takva nekontrolirana pobuna, a najglasniji su bili predstavnici Crkve. Nije mi jasno zašto nisu tražili da im pokažemo scenarij i vidjeli bi da ta priča sa sotonom koji izlazi iz groba sv. Dujma nema nikakve veze sa Solinom i Splitom i da se neće tu snimati – kazao je za Slobodnu Dalmaciju Mario Ivezić, scenograf i direktor tvrtke "Moj film", koja se nekada zvala "MHM Ivezić", a koja je u prosincu 2005. godine, radeći za američku filmsku kompaniju "20th Century Fox", organizirala postavljanje filmskog seta na lokalitetu Manastirine u Solinu za snimanje horor-filma "Omen 666".

Nakon što smo objavili da je splitski župan Blaženko Boban ministrici turizma Nikolini Brnjac kazao kako je prije petnaestak godina inscenirao paljenje scenografije kako bi uvjerio tadašnjeg ministra kulture da mora povući dozvole za snimanje zbog pobune naroda, nazvali smo Ivezića za komentar.

– Ma da, pratim evo, ne mogu vjerovati. Zapaljeno je tada oko 60-ak metara drvene scenografije, vjerojatno su to polili benzinom i zapalili. Ne sjećam se više jesmo li dobili ikakvo izvješće policije. Ne, nismo službeno prijavili nikakvu financijsku štetu, mi smo kao tvrtka tad bili samo usluga Amerikancima.

Sve smo radili po propisima, imali smo sve dozvole i od Ministarstva i od Arheološkog muzeja Split, odnosno Salona je trebala "glumiti" arheološko polje u Izraelu i na njemu je trebalo biti snimljeno samo nekoliko prolazaka dvojice glumaca. Na kraju smo te scene snimili u Italiji. Mi smo, kao tvrtka, imali štetu zbog neisplaćenih honorara jer stvar nije odrađena do kraja, a da je stvar dobro prošla, mi bismo sigurno radili još poslova za njih.

Sjećam se da redatelj nije mogao vjerovati kad smo mu javili da je zapaljen set. Znam da je "20th Century Fox" onda razmatrao tužbu protiv Hrvatske, mislili su tražiti čak dva milijuna dolara odštete, raspitivali su se, ali su na kraju odustali jer su shvatili da bi ih to sve više koštalo nego da puste cijelu priču – kaže Ivezić, dodajući kako je to vrijeme tada za njega bilo vrlo kritično i užasno.

– Meni je od početka bilo jasno i bio sam svjestan da netko iza toga stoji, da to nisu napravili revoltirani građani sami od sebe i da to nije bila nikakva spontana reakcija naroda. Ali, priznajem, nisam ni slutio tko bi mogao biti iza toga – kazao je Ivezić, inače sin poznatoga hrvatskog kazališnog i filmskog glumca Ilije Ivezića, koji u Dalmaciji ima "kultni status" zbog svoje uloge u serijalu "Prosjaci i sinovi", gdje je glumio Šunju.
