Argentinski nogometaš Alejandro "Papu" Gomez, koji je s reprezentacijom osvojio naslov svjetskog prvaka prošle godine, bio je pozitivan na dopinškoj kontroli u listopadu 2022., a Španjolska antidopinška agencija mu je izrekla dvogodišnju zabranu nastupa.   

U vrijeme provedene dopinške kontrole Gomez je igrao za Sevillu iz koje je u rujnu ove godine prešao u Monzu koja je u petak potvrdila vijest u suspenziji 35-godišnjeg argentinskog ofenzivca.

"Monza objavljuje da je preko Talijanskog nogometnog saveza od Fife primila obavijest o suspenziji koju je izrekla Španjolska antidopinška agencija, a odnosi se na Alejandra Daria Gomeza", stoji u priopćenju talijanskog prvoligaša.

U Gomezovom uzorku je pronađena nedopuštena tvar terbutalin, za koju Gomez tvrdi da ju je unio preko sirupa protiv kašlja.

Monza je priopćila da je "pozitivan rezultat na testiranju rezultat nesvjesnog unosa".

Testiranje je provedeno nekoliko tjedana prije početka Svjetskog prvenstva 2022. u Katru, na kojem je Gomez bio u početnoj postavi na dvije utakmice, ali nije zaigrao u finalu protiv Francuske.

Gomez je veći dio karijere proveo igrajući u talijanskim klubovima. Tri sezone je proveo u Cataniji (2010. - 2013.), a potom je sedam godina nosio dres Atalante (2014. - 2021.) za koju je postigao 59 pogodaka u 252 nastupa u svim natjecanjima.

Nakon što mu je istekao ugovor sa Sevillom, Argentinac je dva mjeseca bio bez kluba, a onda je prihvatio poziv Monze za koju je odigrao dvije utakmice.

Argentinski nogometaš Alejandro "Papu" Gomez, koji je s reprezentacijom osvojio naslov svjetskog prvaka prošle godine, bio je pozitivan na dopinškoj kontroli u listopadu 2022., a Španjolska antidopinška agencija mu je izrekla dvogodišnju zabranu nastupa.   

U vrijeme provedene dopinške kontrole Gomez je igrao za Sevillu iz koje je u rujnu ove godine prešao u Monzu koja je u petak potvrdila vijest u suspenziji 35-godišnjeg argentinskog ofenzivca.

"Monza objavljuje da je preko Talijanskog nogometnog saveza od Fife primila obavijest o suspenziji koju je izrekla Španjolska antidopinška agencija, a odnosi se na Alejandra Daria Gomeza", stoji u priopćenju talijanskog prvoligaša.

U Gomezovom uzorku je pronađena nedopuštena tvar terbutalin, za koju Gomez tvrdi da ju je unio preko sirupa protiv kašlja.

Monza je priopćila da je "pozitivan rezultat na testiranju rezultat nesvjesnog unosa".

Testiranje je provedeno nekoliko tjedana prije početka Svjetskog prvenstva 2022. u Katru, na kojem je Gomez bio u početnoj postavi na dvije utakmice, ali nije zaigrao u finalu protiv Francuske.

Gomez je veći dio karijere proveo igrajući u talijanskim klubovima. Tri sezone je proveo u Cataniji (2010. - 2013.), a potom je sedam godina nosio dres Atalante (2014. - 2021.) za koju je postigao 59 pogodaka u 252 nastupa u svim natjecanjima.

Nakon što mu je istekao ugovor sa Sevillom, Argentinac je dva mjeseca bio bez kluba, a onda je prihvatio poziv Monze za koju je odigrao dvije utakmice.

S Argentinom osvojio svjetsko prvenstvo, a tek nekoliko tjedana prije se dopingirao

Argentinski nogometaš Alejandro "Papu" Gomez, koji je s reprezentacijom osvojio naslov svjetskog prvaka prošle godine, bio je pozitivan na dopinškoj kontroli u listopadu 2022., a Španjolska antidopinška agencija mu je izrekla dvogodišnju zabranu nastupa.   

U vrijeme provedene dopinške kontrole Gomez je igrao za Sevillu iz koje je u rujnu ove godine prešao u Monzu koja je u petak potvrdila vijest u suspenziji 35-godišnjeg argentinskog ofenzivca.

"Monza objavljuje da je preko Talijanskog nogometnog saveza od Fife primila obavijest o suspenziji koju je izrekla Španjolska antidopinška agencija, a odnosi se na Alejandra Daria Gomeza", stoji u priopćenju talijanskog prvoligaša.

U Gomezovom uzorku je pronađena nedopuštena tvar terbutalin, za koju Gomez tvrdi da ju je unio preko sirupa protiv kašlja.

Monza je priopćila da je "pozitivan rezultat na testiranju rezultat nesvjesnog unosa".

Testiranje je provedeno nekoliko tjedana prije početka Svjetskog prvenstva 2022. u Katru, na kojem je Gomez bio u početnoj postavi na dvije utakmice, ali nije zaigrao u finalu protiv Francuske.

Gomez je veći dio karijere proveo igrajući u talijanskim klubovima. Tri sezone je proveo u Cataniji (2010. - 2013.), a potom je sedam godina nosio dres Atalante (2014. - 2021.) za koju je postigao 59 pogodaka u 252 nastupa u svim natjecanjima.

Nakon što mu je istekao ugovor sa Sevillom, Argentinac je dva mjeseca bio bez kluba, a onda je prihvatio poziv Monze za koju je odigrao dvije utakmice.
