Sportašima će biti zabranjeno prosvjedovati na pobjedničkim postoljima i sportskim terenima na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju i Zimskim igrama u Pekingu,  priopćio je u četvrtak Međunarodni olimpijski odbor (MOO).

Više od dvije trećine od 3.547 anketiranih sportaša smatralo je da "nije prikladno demonstrirati ili izraziti svoje stajalište" na postolju, na terenu ili na službenim svečanostima, dodaje MOO.

Ova preporuka slijedi pravila Olimpijske povelje koje zabranjuje bilo kakve "političke, vjerske ili rasne manifestacije ili propagandu" na olimpijskim natjecanjima.

Postupci poput američkih sportaša Johna Carlosa i Tommiea Smitha - koji su podigli šake na OI u Meksiku 1968. godine podržavajući pokret "Crna sila" - mogli bi biti kažnjeni.

- Većina sportaša koji su sudjelovali u anketi ne vjeruje da je prikladno izražavati osobne stavove tijekom svečanosti otvaranja, na postolju ili na sportskom terenu - stoji u priopćenju MOO-a.

- Sudionici ankete obično smatraju da je prikladno da se sportaši očituju ili izražavaju svoja mišljenja u medijima, na konferencijama za tisak i u mješovitim područjima - dodaje MOO.

Među ostalim preporukama koje je usvojio Izvršni odbor, olimpijska zakletva bit će prilagođena tako da će obećavati koheziju i nediskriminaciju, a odjeća sportaša obilježena riječima kao što su "mir", "solidarnost" i "jednakost".

Odluka o zabrani bilo kojeg oblika prosvjeda sportaša mogla bi izazvati negodovanje nakon prosvjednih pokreta u nekoliko sportova u znak potpore pokretu "Black Lives Matter".

Američki olimpijski i paraolimpijski odbor (USOPC) objavio je krajem ožujka da će sportaši koji sudjeluju na Igrama u Tokiju biti slobodni podići šake ili kleknuti tijekom državne himne, podržavajući napore borbe za rasnu jednakost i pravdu.

Kina, koja će u veljači biti domaćin Zimskih igara u Pekingu, suočava se s pozivima na bojkot zbog represije nad Ujgurima u svojoj provinciji Xinjiang i ograničenja sloboda u Hong Kongu.

Sportašima će biti zabranjeno prosvjedovati na pobjedničkim postoljima i sportskim terenima na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju i Zimskim igrama u Pekingu,  priopćio je u četvrtak Međunarodni olimpijski odbor (MOO).

Više od dvije trećine od 3.547 anketiranih sportaša smatralo je da "nije prikladno demonstrirati ili izraziti svoje stajalište" na postolju, na terenu ili na službenim svečanostima, dodaje MOO.

Ova preporuka slijedi pravila Olimpijske povelje koje zabranjuje bilo kakve "političke, vjerske ili rasne manifestacije ili propagandu" na olimpijskim natjecanjima.

Postupci poput američkih sportaša Johna Carlosa i Tommiea Smitha - koji su podigli šake na OI u Meksiku 1968. godine podržavajući pokret "Crna sila" - mogli bi biti kažnjeni.

- Većina sportaša koji su sudjelovali u anketi ne vjeruje da je prikladno izražavati osobne stavove tijekom svečanosti otvaranja, na postolju ili na sportskom terenu - stoji u priopćenju MOO-a.

- Sudionici ankete obično smatraju da je prikladno da se sportaši očituju ili izražavaju svoja mišljenja u medijima, na konferencijama za tisak i u mješovitim područjima - dodaje MOO.

Među ostalim preporukama koje je usvojio Izvršni odbor, olimpijska zakletva bit će prilagođena tako da će obećavati koheziju i nediskriminaciju, a odjeća sportaša obilježena riječima kao što su "mir", "solidarnost" i "jednakost".

Odluka o zabrani bilo kojeg oblika prosvjeda sportaša mogla bi izazvati negodovanje nakon prosvjednih pokreta u nekoliko sportova u znak potpore pokretu "Black Lives Matter".

Američki olimpijski i paraolimpijski odbor (USOPC) objavio je krajem ožujka da će sportaši koji sudjeluju na Igrama u Tokiju biti slobodni podići šake ili kleknuti tijekom državne himne, podržavajući napore borbe za rasnu jednakost i pravdu.

Kina, koja će u veljači biti domaćin Zimskih igara u Pekingu, suočava se s pozivima na bojkot zbog represije nad Ujgurima u svojoj provinciji Xinjiang i ograničenja sloboda u Hong Kongu.

Sportašima zabranjeno prosvjedovati na postolju i na sportskim terenima za vrijeme Olimpijskih igara u Tokiju

Sportašima će biti zabranjeno prosvjedovati na pobjedničkim postoljima i sportskim terenima na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju i Zimskim igrama u Pekingu,  priopćio je u četvrtak Međunarodni olimpijski odbor (MOO).

Više od dvije trećine od 3.547 anketiranih sportaša smatralo je da "nije prikladno demonstrirati ili izraziti svoje stajalište" na postolju, na terenu ili na službenim svečanostima, dodaje MOO.

Ova preporuka slijedi pravila Olimpijske povelje koje zabranjuje bilo kakve "političke, vjerske ili rasne manifestacije ili propagandu" na olimpijskim natjecanjima.

Postupci poput američkih sportaša Johna Carlosa i Tommiea Smitha - koji su podigli šake na OI u Meksiku 1968. godine podržavajući pokret "Crna sila" - mogli bi biti kažnjeni.
