Dok su Splićani mirno spavali, kradući zadnje tračke sna, tridesetak naših sugrađana nije žalilo nepospavanu noć.
Okupili su se kod istočnog ulaza na gradsku plažu Bačvice, gdje je provedeno astronomsko promatranje potpune pomrčine Mjeseca, u organizaciji udruge Zvjezdano selo Mosor i Astronomska sekcija Fizikalnog društva – Split.

Astronomi su pripremili dva teleskopa, kroz koja su zainteresirani mogli pratiti ulazak našeg prirodnog satelita u sjenu Zemlje.
- Mjesec je u polusjenu počeo ulaziti u 3.30, a u sjenu približno jedan sat kasnije. Upravo u trenutku kada ga je Zemlja bila posve pomračila i u času kada je na istoku izlazilo Sunce, Mjesec je za promatrače u našim krajevima zašao - objasnio je Zoran Knez, astronom - animator Zvjezdanog sela Mosor.

Osim što su zvjezdoljupci uživali u dojmljivom prizoru, znalci su im pored Mjeseca, dali priliku teleskopom promotriti i planete Saturn, Jupiter i Veneru, koji se ovih jutara vide na istočnom nebu. Astronomu Knezu asistirale su mlade članice Astronomske sekcije Matea Baturina i Lucija Marević.

Okupili su se kod istočnog ulaza na gradsku plažu Bačvice, gdje je provedeno astronomsko promatranje potpune pomrčine Mjeseca, u organizaciji udruge Zvjezdano selo Mosor i Astronomska sekcija Fizikalnog društva – Split.

Astronomi su pripremili dva teleskopa, kroz koja su zainteresirani mogli pratiti ulazak našeg prirodnog satelita u sjenu Zemlje.
- Mjesec je u polusjenu počeo ulaziti u 3.30, a u sjenu približno jedan sat kasnije. Upravo u trenutku kada ga je Zemlja bila posve pomračila i u času kada je na istoku izlazilo Sunce, Mjesec je za promatrače u našim krajevima zašao - objasnio je Zoran Knez, astronom - animator Zvjezdanog sela Mosor.

Osim što su zvjezdoljupci uživali u dojmljivom prizoru, znalci su im pored Mjeseca, dali priliku teleskopom promotriti i planete Saturn, Jupiter i Veneru, koji se ovih jutara vide na istočnom nebu. Astronomu Knezu asistirale su mlade članice Astronomske sekcije Matea Baturina i Lucija Marević.
