Jeff Bezos je upravo nakon dvije godine postao najbogatiji čovjek na svijetu. Trenutno se nalazi na mjestu koje se zove "vrh svijeta" i jednostavno ne može biti bolji ni bogatiji od toga. Ljudi koji rade s njim kažu da je tu poziciju apsolutno zaslužio.

Uspješna poslovna žena Anne Hiatt podijelila je svoje iskustvo rada s Jeffom Bezososom.

U razdoblju od 2002. do 2005. bila je njegova osobna asistentica, pa je nedavno u intervjuu za "CNBS" objasnila kako je dobila posao kod osnivača Amazona.

Nakon što je prošao kroz nekoliko teških krugova eliminacije u Centru za procjenu, posljednji u nizu bio je intervju s milijarderom, koji je u to vrijeme bio CEO, prenosi Kurir. 

- Bezos je započeo razgovor obećanjem da će mi postaviti dva pitanja i da će drugo od njih biti "zabavna" zagonetka. "Želim da procijeniš broj prozora u Seattleu", rekao mi je, zatim ustao, uzeo olovku i rekao da će brojati.

"Bila sam prestravljena na trenutak. Zatim sam zastala da se smirim, podsjetivši se da razmislim o tome što ga je motiviralo da mi postavi takvo pitanje. Želi vidjeti kako moj um radi, rekla sam sebi. Želi vidjeti kako komplicirani problem rastavljam na male korake kojima se može upravljati. Mogu ja to, pomislila sam" - prisjetila se, a zatim otkrila kako je odgovorila na ovo komplicirano pitanje.

Anne je započela izračun zaokruživanjem stanovništva Seattlea na otprilike milijun, uz pretpostavku da je svatko od njih imao kuću, vozilo, ured ili školu koju je pohađao te da su svi imali prozore.

Ukupnu ocjenu temeljila je na prosječnom broju prozora po glavi stanovnika.

- Razmotrili smo sve scenarije, anomalije i moguće načine objašnjenja iznimaka. Imala sam dojam da smo satima razgovarali o tome dok je Bezos zapisivao brojke na ploču, a siguran sam da to nije trajalo više od 10 minuta.

Jeff ju je pitao koji su joj ciljevi u karijeri.

- Odgovorila sam da je tvrtka Amazon puna strastvenih i ambicioznih ljudi i to me motivira. Rekla sam mu: "Želim biti poput njih i naučiti ono što oni znaju". Imaju znanja iz područja koja ja osobno želim razvijati, pa je vrijednost tog iskustva očigledna, iako se čini da odudara od mog cilja da ja nekoga podučavam - prisjetila se Hiatt.

No, kao i sve druge kandidate, drugo je pitanje nemalo i vidno iznenadilo.

Sjećam se i da je bio dosta emotivan kada je pisao završnu ocjenu. Zaokružio je broj i rekao: "Ovo izgleda prilično točno", dodala je.

Ann mu je danas zahvalna za ono čemu ju je naučio.

- Procijenio je moj potencijal postavljajući mi pitanja koja su trebala utvrditi imam li dovoljno hrabrosti, snage i motivacije pratiti vlastiti tempo i stalno pomicati svoje granice i napredovati - zaključila je.

Jeff Bezos je upravo nakon dvije godine postao najbogatiji čovjek na svijetu. Trenutno se nalazi na mjestu koje se zove "vrh svijeta" i jednostavno ne može biti bolji ni bogatiji od toga. Ljudi koji rade s njim kažu da je tu poziciju apsolutno zaslužio.

Uspješna poslovna žena Anne Hiatt podijelila je svoje iskustvo rada s Jeffom Bezososom.

U razdoblju od 2002. do 2005. bila je njegova osobna asistentica, pa je nedavno u intervjuu za "CNBS" objasnila kako je dobila posao kod osnivača Amazona.

Nakon što je prošao kroz nekoliko teških krugova eliminacije u Centru za procjenu, posljednji u nizu bio je intervju s milijarderom, koji je u to vrijeme bio CEO, prenosi Kurir. 

- Bezos je započeo razgovor obećanjem da će mi postaviti dva pitanja i da će drugo od njih biti "zabavna" zagonetka. "Želim da procijeniš broj prozora u Seattleu", rekao mi je, zatim ustao, uzeo olovku i rekao da će brojati.

"Bila sam prestravljena na trenutak. Zatim sam zastala da se smirim, podsjetivši se da razmislim o tome što ga je motiviralo da mi postavi takvo pitanje. Želi vidjeti kako moj um radi, rekla sam sebi. Želi vidjeti kako komplicirani problem rastavljam na male korake kojima se može upravljati. Mogu ja to, pomislila sam" - prisjetila se, a zatim otkrila kako je odgovorila na ovo komplicirano pitanje.

Anne je započela izračun zaokruživanjem stanovništva Seattlea na otprilike milijun, uz pretpostavku da je svatko od njih imao kuću, vozilo, ured ili školu koju je pohađao te da su svi imali prozore.

Ukupnu ocjenu temeljila je na prosječnom broju prozora po glavi stanovnika.

- Razmotrili smo sve scenarije, anomalije i moguće načine objašnjenja iznimaka. Imala sam dojam da smo satima razgovarali o tome dok je Bezos zapisivao brojke na ploču, a siguran sam da to nije trajalo više od 10 minuta.

Jeff ju je pitao koji su joj ciljevi u karijeri.

- Odgovorila sam da je tvrtka Amazon puna strastvenih i ambicioznih ljudi i to me motivira. Rekla sam mu: "Želim biti poput njih i naučiti ono što oni znaju". Imaju znanja iz područja koja ja osobno želim razvijati, pa je vrijednost tog iskustva očigledna, iako se čini da odudara od mog cilja da ja nekoga podučavam - prisjetila se Hiatt.

No, kao i sve druge kandidate, drugo je pitanje nemalo i vidno iznenadilo.

Sjećam se i da je bio dosta emotivan kada je pisao završnu ocjenu. Zaokružio je broj i rekao: "Ovo izgleda prilično točno", dodala je.

Ann mu je danas zahvalna za ono čemu ju je naučio.

- Procijenio je moj potencijal postavljajući mi pitanja koja su trebala utvrditi imam li dovoljno hrabrosti, snage i motivacije pratiti vlastiti tempo i stalno pomicati svoje granice i napredovati - zaključila je.
