Devlynn Cyr otišla je u bolnicu u rujnu, s namjerom da ide na rutinsku operaciju debelog crijeva nakon što se dugo žalila na kronične bolove, zatvor i upalu.
Prije operacije, Devlynn je rečeno da će dobiti stomu, sustav vrećica postavljen u abdomen koji osigurava sredstvo za skupljanje otpada. Doduše, umjesto buđenja uz vijesti da je operacija prošla bez problema i da će njezini simptomi biti stvar prošlosti, Devlynn je rečeno da boluje od raka debelog crijeva trećeg stadija. Nadalje, liječnici su morali odstraniti maternicu dok je bila pod anestezijom, piše Jutarnji list.

U TikToku koji je pregledan više od 1,5 milijuna puta, Devlynn je snimila sebe kako sjedi u bolnici samo nekoliko sati nakon što se probudila i primila poražavajuću vijest. - Mog muža su nazvali usred operacije i rekli mu: ‘Evo u čemu je problem. Našli smo tumor i nalazi se na maternici Vaše supruge‘ - dodala je Devlynn. Greg Cyr, njen suprug, je to vidio kao pozitivan znak, no gadno se prevario.
Moja prva pomisao bila je: ‘Vau, već su gotovi? To je dobro.‘ Mislio sam da je to dobar znak, da su sve stvari prošle glatko... - prisjetio se. Greg je tada primio poražavajuću vijest da njegova žena ima tumor veličine bejzbolske lopte, prenosi UNILAD.
- ‘Kako bi sigurno uklonili tumor, moramo napraviti histerektomiju, odnosno, ukloniti maternicu‘, rekli su mi. Tada je cijela situacija postala mnogo stvarnija - prepričao je.
Naime, Devlynn je pobacila samo nekoliko mjeseci prije operacije, a par je planirao ponovno pokušati imati djecu. Nažalost, Gregu je rečeno da je rak toliko napredovao da je oštetio Devlynnine jajovode i maternicu.
Kad se Devlynn probudila nakon operacije koja joj je promijenila život, rečeno joj je da neće moći imati djecu.
Nadalje, Devlynn se prisjetila trenutka kada joj je suprug rekao srcedrapajuću vijest.
- Odjednom, moj muž je sjeo na krevet i srce mi se stegnulo. Priznao mi je da je morao donijeti odluku i da su mi napravili histerektomiju - prepričala je Cyr.

Devlynn Cyr otišla je u bolnicu u rujnu, s namjerom da ide na rutinsku operaciju debelog crijeva nakon što se dugo žalila na kronične bolove, zatvor i upalu.
Prije operacije, Devlynn je rečeno da će dobiti stomu, sustav vrećica postavljen u abdomen koji osigurava sredstvo za skupljanje otpada. Doduše, umjesto buđenja uz vijesti da je operacija prošla bez problema i da će njezini simptomi biti stvar prošlosti, Devlynn je rečeno da boluje od raka debelog crijeva trećeg stadija. Nadalje, liječnici su morali odstraniti maternicu dok je bila pod anestezijom, piše Jutarnji list.

U TikToku koji je pregledan više od 1,5 milijuna puta, Devlynn je snimila sebe kako sjedi u bolnici samo nekoliko sati nakon što se probudila i primila poražavajuću vijest. Hrabro je progovorila o svojoj dijagnozi raka, prije nego što je kasnije za People progovorila o užasnom iskušenju kroz koje je prošla.
- Mog muža su nazvali usred operacije i rekli mu: ‘Evo u čemu je problem. Našli smo tumor i nalazi se na maternici Vaše supruge‘ - dodala je Devlynn. Greg Cyr, njen suprug, je to vidio kao pozitivan znak, no gadno se prevario.
Moja prva pomisao bila je: ‘Vau, već su gotovi? To je dobro.‘ Mislio sam da je to dobar znak, da su sve stvari prošle glatko... - prisjetio se. Greg je tada primio poražavajuću vijest da njegova žena ima tumor veličine bejzbolske lopte, prenosi UNILAD.
- ‘Kako bi sigurno uklonili tumor, moramo napraviti histerektomiju, odnosno, ukloniti maternicu‘, rekli su mi. Tada je cijela situacija postala mnogo stvarnija - prepričao je.
Naime, Devlynn je pobacila samo nekoliko mjeseci prije operacije, a par je planirao ponovno pokušati imati djecu. Nažalost, Gregu je rečeno da je rak toliko napredovao da je oštetio Devlynnine jajovode i maternicu.
Kad se Devlynn probudila nakon operacije koja joj je promijenila život, rečeno joj je da neće moći imati djecu.
Nadalje, Devlynn se prisjetila trenutka kada joj je suprug rekao srcedrapajuću vijest.
- Odjednom, moj muž je sjeo na krevet i srce mi se stegnulo. Priznao mi je da je morao donijeti odluku i da su mi napravili histerektomiju - prepričala je Cyr.
