Saša Stanišić rođen je u Višegradu 1978. godine, dakle, dovoljno rano da ga prime u pionire i da u granicama svojih skromnih, dječačkih mogućnosti pruži doprinos društvenom boljitku. Naime, sa svojim vršnjacima jednom je prilikom čistio obale Drine, pjevušeći usput tada popularnu pjesmu grupe Scorpions, "Winds of Change".

Veliko je pitanje je li mali Saša uopće znao da dotični rokeri nisu Britanci ili Amerikanci, nego Nijemci. Čisto sumnjam da ga je u tako nježnoj dobi mogao nasmijati naglasak pjevača Klausa Meinea koji je svoje porijeklo odavao već u prvome stihu pjesme (u njegovoj izvedbi to je zvučalo otprilike ovako: "Folou z Moskva daun tu Gorki Park"). Prije će biti da je vjerovao kako se radi o bendu, odnosno glazbenicima iz Manchestera ili možda Denvera, ali nipošto ne iz Hannovera.

Da mu je tko tada rekao kako će već za nekoliko mjeseci krenuti stazama Scorpionsa, vjerojatno bi se upišao od smijeha. Saša Stanišić nije, međutim, postao hevimetalac u kožnim tajicama s lancem umjesto remena i blajhanom grivom, nego izbjeglica koji je u Njemačkoj spašavao život. Koji je doveden u pitanje unatoč činjenici što ga je rat zatekao u gradu u kojemu su većinu činili sunarodnjaci njegova oca. Što mu je to vrijedilo kad se do srpstva u njegovoj obitelji nije previše držalo i kad mu je majka bila obilježena bošnjačkim imenom i porijeklom. Jednom iščupan iz zavičaja, dječak mu se više nikad nije vratio, osim kao povremeni posjetitelj bake koja je tamo ostala živjeti. Ne samo da je postao Nijemcem, nego danas uživa reputaciju jednog od najvećih suvremenih njemačkih pisaca.

ŠTO 'ODAKLE' ZNAČI?

Saša Stanišić uspeo se do časti književne senzacije već svojom debitantskom knjigom, "Kako je vojnik popravljao gramofon", u kojoj su bila utkana mnoga osobna, izbjeglička iskustva. Drugi roman, "Uoči slavlja", situirao je u uspavanu njemačku provinciju, u selo nadomak poljskoj granici, u kojemu se kao u nekom iskošenom zrcalu mogla razabrati cijela država. Oba libra dočekana su aklamacijama kritike, prevedena su na mnoge jezike i zakićena prestižnim nagradama. Sličnu sudbinu imao je i treći roman, "Porijeklo", koji je nedavno, u prijevodu Ande Bukvić Pažin, objavljen i kod nas.

Libar je to koji se najizravnije bavi sadržajem vlastitog naslova, do kojega piscu nikada nije bilo naročito stalo: "Najprije bi trebalo razjasniti što 'odakle' znači. Misli li se na geografski položaj brda nas kojemu je bilo rodilište? Na državne granice u trenutku zadnjeg truda? Lozu roditelja? Gene, pretke, dijalekt? Porijeklo je konstrukt, kako god okreneš! Neki kostim koji ti navuku, i nosiš ga vječno. Kao takav, prokletstvo! Ili, uz malo sreće, kapital koji nije odraz nikakva talenta, ali ti daje prednosti i privilegije."

Naravno, i on se u jednom trenutku našao pred iskušenjem da propita svoja uvjerenja, ali je srećom odolio izazovu: "Nakon toga sam posjeta groblju doista počeo razmišljati beznačajno i bezumno, da sam posljednji muški Stanišić. Da bih mogao biti slijepa ulica ostanem li bez djece. Počeo sam se baviti svojim porijeklom, ali dugo to nisam priznavao. Činilo mi se zaostalo, upravo destruktivno, govoriti o 'mome' ili 'našem' porijeklu u vremenu u kojemu korijeni porodice i mjesto rođenja opet služe kao razlikovna obilježja, granice se iznova jačaju, a takozvani nacionalni interesi izranjaju iz isušene kaljuže malograđanštine. U vremenu kad je diskriminacija programatska, i za nju se može glasati."

ISKUSTVA DISKRIMINACIJE

Čovjek koji nije htio pristati na fetišizaciju svoga porijekla, vremenom je shvatio da je svaki oblik ukorijenjenosti u neki prostor samo prividan i privremen: "Svaki dom je slučajan: tu si rođen, tamo protjeran, na nekom trećem mjestu ostavljaš svoj bubreg znanosti."

"Porijeklo" je kronika obiteljske raspršenosti po različitim državama, čak i kontinentima, ispisana, savršeno prikladno, ne manje raspršenim stilom, uz mnoštvo digresija kojima je Stanišić i inače sklon, a koje su ovdje skladno ukomponirane. Autor koji nikome ne ugađa, ni staroj, ali bogami ni novoj domovini (u kojoj je, kako veli, skupljao iskustva diskriminacije kao planinari žigove), ispisao je moćan, potresan i mudar roman koji je Anda Bukvić Pažin čudesno prevela. Uživljena u ulogu literarne forenzičarke, ona je tekst ustvari prebacila u jezik kojim bi se i sâm Stanišić vjerojatno služio da ga nije napisao na njemačkome. A taj jezik, baš kao i pisac, slabo mari za nacionalne granice, s lakoćom ih preskače i s radošću posvaja ono što drži prikladnim i lijepim. Maestralno!

Saša Stanišić rođen je u Višegradu 1978. godine, dakle, dovoljno rano da ga prime u pionire i da u granicama svojih skromnih, dječačkih mogućnosti pruži doprinos društvenom boljitku. Naime, sa svojim vršnjacima jednom je prilikom čistio obale Drine, pjevušeći usput tada popularnu pjesmu grupe Scorpions, "Winds of Change".

Veliko je pitanje je li mali Saša uopće znao da dotični rokeri nisu Britanci ili Amerikanci, nego Nijemci. Čisto sumnjam da ga je u tako nježnoj dobi mogao nasmijati naglasak pjevača Klausa Meinea koji je svoje porijeklo odavao već u prvome stihu pjesme (u njegovoj izvedbi to je zvučalo otprilike ovako: "Folou z Moskva daun tu Gorki Park"). Prije će biti da je vjerovao kako se radi o bendu, odnosno glazbenicima iz Manchestera ili možda Denvera, ali nipošto ne iz Hannovera.

Da mu je tko tada rekao kako će već za nekoliko mjeseci krenuti stazama Scorpionsa, vjerojatno bi se upišao od smijeha. Saša Stanišić nije, međutim, postao hevimetalac u kožnim tajicama s lancem umjesto remena i blajhanom grivom, nego izbjeglica koji je u Njemačkoj spašavao život. Koji je doveden u pitanje unatoč činjenici što ga je rat zatekao u gradu u kojemu su većinu činili sunarodnjaci njegova oca. Što mu je to vrijedilo kad se do srpstva u njegovoj obitelji nije previše držalo i kad mu je majka bila obilježena bošnjačkim imenom i porijeklom. Jednom iščupan iz zavičaja, dječak mu se više nikad nije vratio, osim kao povremeni posjetitelj bake koja je tamo ostala živjeti. Ne samo da je postao Nijemcem, nego danas uživa reputaciju jednog od najvećih suvremenih njemačkih pisaca.

ŠTO 'ODAKLE' ZNAČI?

Saša Stanišić uspeo se do časti književne senzacije već svojom debitantskom knjigom, "Kako je vojnik popravljao gramofon", u kojoj su bila utkana mnoga osobna, izbjeglička iskustva. Drugi roman, "Uoči slavlja", situirao je u uspavanu njemačku provinciju, u selo nadomak poljskoj granici, u kojemu se kao u nekom iskošenom zrcalu mogla razabrati cijela država. Oba libra dočekana su aklamacijama kritike, prevedena su na mnoge jezike i zakićena prestižnim nagradama. Sličnu sudbinu imao je i treći roman, "Porijeklo", koji je nedavno, u prijevodu Ande Bukvić Pažin, objavljen i kod nas.

Libar je to koji se najizravnije bavi sadržajem vlastitog naslova, do kojega piscu nikada nije bilo naročito stalo: "Najprije bi trebalo razjasniti što 'odakle' znači. Misli li se na geografski položaj brda nas kojemu je bilo rodilište? Na državne granice u trenutku zadnjeg truda? Lozu roditelja? Gene, pretke, dijalekt? Porijeklo je konstrukt, kako god okreneš! Neki kostim koji ti navuku, i nosiš ga vječno. Kao takav, prokletstvo! Ili, uz malo sreće, kapital koji nije odraz nikakva talenta, ali ti daje prednosti i privilegije."

Naravno, i on se u jednom trenutku našao pred iskušenjem da propita svoja uvjerenja, ali je srećom odolio izazovu: "Nakon toga sam posjeta groblju doista počeo razmišljati beznačajno i bezumno, da sam posljednji muški Stanišić. Da bih mogao biti slijepa ulica ostanem li bez djece. Počeo sam se baviti svojim porijeklom, ali dugo to nisam priznavao. Činilo mi se zaostalo, upravo destruktivno, govoriti o 'mome' ili 'našem' porijeklu u vremenu u kojemu korijeni porodice i mjesto rođenja opet služe kao razlikovna obilježja, granice se iznova jačaju, a takozvani nacionalni interesi izranjaju iz isušene kaljuže malograđanštine. U vremenu kad je diskriminacija programatska, i za nju se može glasati."

ISKUSTVA DISKRIMINACIJE

Čovjek koji nije htio pristati na fetišizaciju svoga porijekla, vremenom je shvatio da je svaki oblik ukorijenjenosti u neki prostor samo prividan i privremen: "Svaki dom je slučajan: tu si rođen, tamo protjeran, na nekom trećem mjestu ostavljaš svoj bubreg znanosti."

"Porijeklo" je kronika obiteljske raspršenosti po različitim državama, čak i kontinentima, ispisana, savršeno prikladno, ne manje raspršenim stilom, uz mnoštvo digresija kojima je Stanišić i inače sklon, a koje su ovdje skladno ukomponirane. Autor koji nikome ne ugađa, ni staroj, ali bogami ni novoj domovini (u kojoj je, kako veli, skupljao iskustva diskriminacije kao planinari žigove), ispisao je moćan, potresan i mudar roman koji je Anda Bukvić Pažin čudesno prevela. Uživljena u ulogu literarne forenzičarke, ona je tekst ustvari prebacila u jezik kojim bi se i sâm Stanišić vjerojatno služio da ga nije napisao na njemačkome. A taj jezik, baš kao i pisac, slabo mari za nacionalne granice, s lakoćom ih preskače i s radošću posvaja ono što drži prikladnim i lijepim. Maestralno!

Saša Stanišić rođen je u Višegradu 1978. godine, dakle, dovoljno rano da ga prime u pionire i da u granicama svojih skromnih, dječačkih mogućnosti pruži doprinos društvenom boljitku. Naime, sa svojim vršnjacima jednom je prilikom čistio obale Drine, pjevušeći usput tada popularnu pjesmu grupe Scorpions, "Winds of Change".

Veliko je pitanje je li mali Saša uopće znao da dotični rokeri nisu Britanci ili Amerikanci, nego Nijemci.
