"Dubravske priče" Almina Kaplana nemaju nikakve veze s "Pričama iz Dubrave" Siniše Škarice. Dok se ugledni diskograf bavio (i još uvijek bavi) zagrebačkim predgrađem u kojemu je svojedobno cvala najveća glazbena produkcija u ovome dijelu Europe, hercegovački pisac zabavljen je predjelom u kojemu su jedina zvučna kulisa eventualno ilahije i kaside.

Tko je čitao autorovu prethodnu knjigu, roman "Meho", vrlo dobro zna o kakvome ambijentu i ljudima se ovdje radi. Podneblje je zeleno, prije svega klorofilno, a tek potom vjerski ili ideološki, jer se radi o kraju kojemu lokalno stanovništvo voli tepati kao hercegovačkoj Kaliforniji. No, unatoč svim pretpostavkama za život u obilju, tamošnji svijet jedva spaja kraj s krajem. Rat je njihove živote tragično i nepopravljivo rascijepio, obilježivši ih traumama koje su još žive. Sretniji među njima godinama su živjeli u progonstvu, a oni koje je milost mimoišla patili su se u logorima. Danas i jedni i drugi gledaju kako biti u dobre s lokalnim drmatorima iz stranke, zna se koje, ili im se barem ne zamjeriti. Pokorni se mogu nadati da će ih milosrdna partija kad-tad obradovati frezom ili kakvim sličnim darom, a oni drugi davno su izgubili svaki razlog za ufanje u bolje sutra.

"Dubravske priče" doimaju se kao jedanaest dajdžestiranih "Meha". Malomišćanske storije podijeljene su u dva ciklusa. Prvi se bavi sadašnjim događajima koje nam izlaže sveznajući narator, drugi tematizira zbivanja neposredno uoči izbijanja rata, ispričana u prvome licu od strane infantilnog pripovjedača. Oba prozna grozda bave se "zamrzavanjem" trenutka: Kaplan nas uvodi u svijet svojih karaktera koje zatječemo u tipičnim situacijama iz njihove svakodnevice. Malo što, ne samo drukčijega i novoga, zbiva se tim ljudima. A kad neki događaj ili sama njegova slutnja izmijeni ustajalu rutinu, tu je pisac da nas provede kroz osebujni svijet svojih likova. Kao što su im životi predvidljivi i prazni, takva je otprilike i njihova uzajamna komunikacija. Puno više negoli riječima, oni kao da se sporazumijevaju šutnjama.

ZULFINO BLAGO

Svaka priča u stvari je kutija s duplim dnom. Zamašnjak naracije pokreće događaj koji ima, ili bi trebao imati, ozbiljne, počesto i tragične implikacije. No, kako vrijeme prolazi bivamo svjesniji kako negdje ispod, iza ili sa strane, kao dramska ponornica, teče pripovjedna digresija koja depatetizira onaj temeljni sloj storije.

Priča pod naslovom "Motorka", koja otvara libar, u tom je smislu više nego ilustrativna. Selom se pronio glas da se susjed Zulfo dohvatio ganc novom motornom pilom. Zgranuta propitivanja o težini njegovih ozljeda brzo će prerasti u diskusiju o tome kako je siroti Zulfo dobio taj vrijedan i opasan alat: je li mu ga darovala stranka ili općina preko programa pomoći za poljoprivrednike povratnike. U drugoj priči pod naslovom "Mraz" pažnju likova zaokupila je jejina (sova) koja je cijelu noć u blizini hukala. Kome? Sva je prilika da je odbrojavala susjedu Ibri koji u postelji kopni, iscrpljen teškom, neizlječivom bolešću. Kako vrijeme bude odmicalo, sućut prema nesretnom čovjeku polako će uzmicati pred brigom za krumpire i krave, vrijednu imovinu koju treba dobro utopliti jer stiže opaki mraz.

PJESNIK U PROZI

I tako redom sve do zadnje, jedanaeste priče, Kaplan veze na dva pripovjedna razboja mekom rukom pisca koji je - među ostalim ili prije svega – pjesnik, dakle znade do u slovni znak procijeniti koliko kojoj temi valja otvoriti prostora i kako u tome tijesnom formatu zbiti slojevite i složene uvide. "Evo ti ovo i nemoj š njom među hrvatske kuće – da jadan nisi", veli majstor Ibro u priči "Zastava" iz drugog ciklusa, dajući dječaku zeleno platno s mjesecom i zvijezdom, koje je upravo priheftao za kolac. Klinac nadalje pripovijeda ovako:

"Zastavu sam razvio, ali kako nije bilo vjetra, na njoj se nisu vidjeli ni mjesec ni zvijezda.
'Potrči', reče mi Azer i prst gurnu u nos. 'Potrči da vidimo radi li.'
I ja ga poslušah.
Dok sam trčao, on se bio popeo na zid ispred Ibrine štale, izvadio kitu, počeo pišati i stao skandirati: 'Radi! Radi! Radi!' Onda sam ga čuo kako govori: 'Paziiiii Hrvaaatiii...', i vidio Ibru kako iz štale trči prema njemu, vitla rukama, hvata se kamenja..."
Da zaključim, Kaplan je toliko darovit da ti se mora učiniti kako je sve izmislio: i predjel kojim se bavi, i ljude koji ga nastanjuju, čak i jezik kojim piše. Što se on više trudi biti autentičnim Dubravcem, meni se više čini da on stvara neki potpuno novi, drukčiji i neusporedivi svijet.

"Dubravske priče" Almina Kaplana nemaju nikakve veze s "Pričama iz Dubrave" Siniše Škarice. Dok se ugledni diskograf bavio (i još uvijek bavi) zagrebačkim predgrađem u kojemu je svojedobno cvala najveća glazbena produkcija u ovome dijelu Europe, hercegovački pisac zabavljen je predjelom u kojemu su jedina zvučna kulisa eventualno ilahije i kaside.

Tko je čitao autorovu prethodnu knjigu, roman "Meho", vrlo dobro zna o kakvome ambijentu i ljudima se ovdje radi. Podneblje je zeleno, prije svega klorofilno, a tek potom vjerski ili ideološki, jer se radi o kraju kojemu lokalno stanovništvo voli tepati kao hercegovačkoj Kaliforniji. No, unatoč svim pretpostavkama za život u obilju, tamošnji svijet jedva spaja kraj s krajem. Rat je njihove živote tragično i nepopravljivo rascijepio, obilježivši ih traumama koje su još žive. Sretniji među njima godinama su živjeli u progonstvu, a oni koje je milost mimoišla patili su se u logorima. Danas i jedni i drugi gledaju kako biti u dobre s lokalnim drmatorima iz stranke, zna se koje, ili im se barem ne zamjeriti. Pokorni se mogu nadati da će ih milosrdna partija kad-tad obradovati frezom ili kakvim sličnim darom, a oni drugi davno su izgubili svaki razlog za ufanje u bolje sutra.

"Dubravske priče" doimaju se kao jedanaest dajdžestiranih "Meha". Malomišćanske storije podijeljene su u dva ciklusa. Prvi se bavi sadašnjim događajima koje nam izlaže sveznajući narator, drugi tematizira zbivanja neposredno uoči izbijanja rata, ispričana u prvome licu od strane infantilnog pripovjedača. Oba prozna grozda bave se "zamrzavanjem" trenutka: Kaplan nas uvodi u svijet svojih karaktera koje zatječemo u tipičnim situacijama iz njihove svakodnevice. Malo što, ne samo drukčijega i novoga, zbiva se tim ljudima. A kad neki događaj ili sama njegova slutnja izmijeni ustajalu rutinu, tu je pisac da nas provede kroz osebujni svijet svojih likova. Kao što su im životi predvidljivi i prazni, takva je otprilike i njihova uzajamna komunikacija. Puno više negoli riječima, oni kao da se sporazumijevaju šutnjama.

ZULFINO BLAGO

Svaka priča u stvari je kutija s duplim dnom. Zamašnjak naracije pokreće događaj koji ima, ili bi trebao imati, ozbiljne, počesto i tragične implikacije. No, kako vrijeme prolazi bivamo svjesniji kako negdje ispod, iza ili sa strane, kao dramska ponornica, teče pripovjedna digresija koja depatetizira onaj temeljni sloj storije.

Priča pod naslovom "Motorka", koja otvara libar, u tom je smislu više nego ilustrativna. Selom se pronio glas da se susjed Zulfo dohvatio ganc novom motornom pilom. Zgranuta propitivanja o težini njegovih ozljeda brzo će prerasti u diskusiju o tome kako je siroti Zulfo dobio taj vrijedan i opasan alat: je li mu ga darovala stranka ili općina preko programa pomoći za poljoprivrednike povratnike. U drugoj priči pod naslovom "Mraz" pažnju likova zaokupila je jejina (sova) koja je cijelu noć u blizini hukala. Kome? Sva je prilika da je odbrojavala susjedu Ibri koji u postelji kopni, iscrpljen teškom, neizlječivom bolešću. Kako vrijeme bude odmicalo, sućut prema nesretnom čovjeku polako će uzmicati pred brigom za krumpire i krave, vrijednu imovinu koju treba dobro utopliti jer stiže opaki mraz.

PJESNIK U PROZI

I tako redom sve do zadnje, jedanaeste priče, Kaplan veze na dva pripovjedna razboja mekom rukom pisca koji je - među ostalim ili prije svega – pjesnik, dakle znade do u slovni znak procijeniti koliko kojoj temi valja otvoriti prostora i kako u tome tijesnom formatu zbiti slojevite i složene uvide. "Evo ti ovo i nemoj š njom među hrvatske kuće – da jadan nisi", veli majstor Ibro u priči "Zastava" iz drugog ciklusa, dajući dječaku zeleno platno s mjesecom i zvijezdom, koje je upravo priheftao za kolac. Klinac nadalje pripovijeda ovako:

"Zastavu sam razvio, ali kako nije bilo vjetra, na njoj se nisu vidjeli ni mjesec ni zvijezda.
'Potrči', reče mi Azer i prst gurnu u nos. 'Potrči da vidimo radi li.'
I ja ga poslušah.
Dok sam trčao, on se bio popeo na zid ispred Ibrine štale, izvadio kitu, počeo pišati i stao skandirati: 'Radi! Radi! Radi!' Onda sam ga čuo kako govori: 'Paziiiii Hrvaaatiii...', i vidio Ibru kako iz štale trči prema njemu, vitla rukama, hvata se kamenja..."
Da zaključim, Kaplan je toliko darovit da ti se mora učiniti kako je sve izmislio: i predjel kojim se bavi, i ljude koji ga nastanjuju, čak i jezik kojim piše. Što se on više trudi biti autentičnim Dubravcem, meni se više čini da on stvara neki potpuno novi, drukčiji i neusporedivi svijet.

"Dubravske priče" Almina Kaplana nemaju nikakve veze s "Pričama iz Dubrave" Siniše Škarice. Dok se ugledni diskograf bavio (i još uvijek bavi) zagrebačkim predgrađem u kojemu je svojedobno cvala najveća glazbena produkcija u ovome dijelu Europe, hercegovački pisac zabavljen je predjelom u kojemu su jedina zvučna kulisa eventualno ilahije i kaside.

Tko je čitao autorovu prethodnu knjigu, roman "Meho", vrlo dobro zna o kakvome ambijentu i ljudima se ovdje radi. Podneblje je zeleno, prije svega klorofilno, a tek potom vjerski ili ideološki, jer se radi o kraju kojemu lokalno stanovništvo voli tepati kao hercegovačkoj Kaliforniji. No, unatoč svim pretpostavkama za život u obilju, tamošnji svijet jedva spaja kraj s krajem. Rat je njihove živote tragično i nepopravljivo rascijepio, o...
