Zatvaranje brane odnosno ustava koje su pod ingerencijom ljudi na hidrocentrali "Peć Mlini" u Bosni I Hercegovini, uzrok su neviđenih šteta na našim poljoprivrednim kulturama u Imotskom polju.

Ono što se već danima događa u Vrgorcu i okolici vezano je uz ogromne količine vode koja izviru u njihovim poljima, a ovdje je uzrok ljudski faktor na koji mi, obični poljoprivrednici, ne možemo utjecati.

To je međunarodni problem, pa bi lokalna vlast, Županija splitsko dalmatinska ili državni organi morali intervenirati da nam se skrate muke za ubuduće, jer je ova sezona za nas gotova, te da se nama, OPG-ovcima koji uredno plačamo sve doprinose i poreze, mora hitno pomoći.

Sve ovo nam je, gotovo u jednom dahu, rekao Goran Rebić, vlasnik OPG-a iz Vinjana Donjih kod Imotskog, kojem je uništen sav ovogodišnji urod jagoda, ali i nasadi rajčica, patlidžana, paprika i krumpira. Šteta se procjenjuje na desetke tisuća eura.

Razlog plavljenja plastenika i okolnih obradivih površina u tom dijelu Imotskog polja nije od visokih voda rijeke Vrljike, kao što je primjer u Runovićima i na području Općine Zmijavci, nego zbog izlijevanja voda iz kanala Jaruga čija je isključiva namjena da višak vode s polja odvodi prema Vrljici i dalje prema njezinim ponorima na krajnjem istočnom dijelu Imotsko-Bekijskog polja, onom što se nalazi na teritoriju BiH.

Upravo je Jaruga poplavila velike površine u Vinjanima Donjim na kojem su i Rebićevi plastenici, ali od Jaruge i voda koje se izlijevaju iz nje ugroženi su mnogi poljoprivrednici u okolnim mjestima. Zreli plodovi jagoda koje su već trebale biti na tržištu sada se nalaze pod vodom, a ustajala voda se zbog rasta temperatura zraka ubrzano zagrijava i isparava.

Poplavljene su i tek posađene mladice patlidžana i rajčica, a i veliki kompleks zasađen krumpirom je pod vodom.

- Pokušao sam crpkama izbaciti vodu, ali dok na jednom kraju ispumpavam, s drugog dolazi voda, tako da sam se pomirio sa štetom, već tužan I očajan što sam izgubio velik i bogat urod, ali i zbog toga što se neke kulture neće oporaviti ni za slijedeću godinu - naglašava Rebić.

No, u cijeloj priči Gorana Rebića, ali i mnogih imotskih poljoprivrednika, čini se da glavnu riječ imaju "Hrvatske vode", jer sanacijom brane Ričice koja je i izgrađena da sačuva vodu za sušne ljetne dane i spriječava plavljenje Imotsko-bekijskog polja, svi ovi problemi bi bili riješeni.

Očito da se presporo radi na sanaciji te brane koja propušta silne količine vode i da je to jedan od glavnih razloga aktualnog stanja u polju. A to traje već godinama iako je Županija pripremila cijeli projekt.

Dok se taj zahvat ne ostvari, sigurno je da će poljoprivrednici biti ovisni o odlukama stručnjaka u BiH koji čuvaju svoje interese kada je u pitanju zaustavljanje velikih količina vode koje u zapadnu Hercegovinu pritječu s imotskog područja. A riječ je o svojevrsnom "začaranom krugu" na kršu, jer vode na imotsko područje dobrim dijelom stižu s teritorija BiH, da bi se Vrljikom i manjim vodotocima prelijevale u BiH gdje u konačnici stižu do Trebižata i dalje u Neretvu, a time se vraćaju i u - Hrvatsku.

Zatvaranje brane odnosno ustava koje su pod ingerencijom ljudi na hidrocentrali "Peć Mlini" u Bosni I Hercegovini, uzrok su neviđenih šteta na našim poljoprivrednim kulturama u Imotskom polju.

Ono što se već danima događa u Vrgorcu i okolici vezano je uz ogromne količine vode koja izviru u njihovim poljima, a ovdje je uzrok ljudski faktor na koji mi, obični poljoprivrednici, ne možemo utjecati.

To je međunarodni problem, pa bi lokalna vlast, Županija splitsko dalmatinska ili državni organi morali intervenirati da nam se skrate muke za ubuduće, jer je ova sezona za nas gotova, te da se nama, OPG-ovcima koji uredno plačamo sve doprinose i poreze, mora hitno pomoći.

Sve ovo nam je, gotovo u jednom dahu, rekao Goran Rebić, vlasnik OPG-a iz Vinjana Donjih kod Imotskog, kojem je uništen sav ovogodišnji urod jagoda, ali i nasadi rajčica, patlidžana, paprika i krumpira. Šteta se procjenjuje na desetke tisuća eura.

Razlog plavljenja plastenika i okolnih obradivih površina u tom dijelu Imotskog polja nije od visokih voda rijeke Vrljike, kao što je primjer u Runovićima i na području Općine Zmijavci, nego zbog izlijevanja voda iz kanala Jaruga čija je isključiva namjena da višak vode s polja odvodi prema Vrljici i dalje prema njezinim ponorima na krajnjem istočnom dijelu Imotsko-Bekijskog polja, onom što se nalazi na teritoriju BiH.

Upravo je Jaruga poplavila velike površine u Vinjanima Donjim na kojem su i Rebićevi plastenici, ali od Jaruge i voda koje se izlijevaju iz nje ugroženi su mnogi poljoprivrednici u okolnim mjestima. Zreli plodovi jagoda koje su već trebale biti na tržištu sada se nalaze pod vodom, a ustajala voda se zbog rasta temperatura zraka ubrzano zagrijava i isparava.

Poplavljene su i tek posađene mladice patlidžana i rajčica, a i veliki kompleks zasađen krumpirom je pod vodom.

- Pokušao sam crpkama izbaciti vodu, ali dok na jednom kraju ispumpavam, s drugog dolazi voda, tako da sam se pomirio sa štetom, već tužan I očajan što sam izgubio velik i bogat urod, ali i zbog toga što se neke kulture neće oporaviti ni za slijedeću godinu - naglašava Rebić.

No, u cijeloj priči Gorana Rebića, ali i mnogih imotskih poljoprivrednika, čini se da glavnu riječ imaju "Hrvatske vode", jer sanacijom brane Ričice koja je i izgrađena da sačuva vodu za sušne ljetne dane i spriječava plavljenje Imotsko-bekijskog polja, svi ovi problemi bi bili riješeni.

Očito da se presporo radi na sanaciji te brane koja propušta silne količine vode i da je to jedan od glavnih razloga aktualnog stanja u polju. A to traje već godinama iako je Županija pripremila cijeli projekt.

Dok se taj zahvat ne ostvari, sigurno je da će poljoprivrednici biti ovisni o odlukama stručnjaka u BiH koji čuvaju svoje interese kada je u pitanju zaustavljanje velikih količina vode koje u zapadnu Hercegovinu pritječu s imotskog područja. A riječ je o svojevrsnom "začaranom krugu" na kršu, jer vode na imotsko područje dobrim dijelom stižu s teritorija BiH, da bi se Vrljikom i manjim vodotocima prelijevale u BiH gdje u konačnici stižu do Trebižata i dalje u Neretvu, a time se vraćaju i u - Hrvatsku.
