Strah od eskalacije piratstva i ratnih sukoba pridonosi kontinuiranom padu Indeksa sreće pomoraca, prema najnovijem izvješću kvartalne studije o dobrobiti pomoraca, prenosi pomorac.hr. Organizacija The Mission to Seafarers koja nadzire istraživanje kaže da su rezultati izrazito zabrinjavajući za sve one koji rade na moru.

Napominju da je ovo četvrti kvartal zaredom koji pokazuje pad indeksa sreće pomoraca. Anketa mjeri dobrobit pomoraca kroz deset ključnih pitanja o njihovu poslu i životu, a osmišljena je da procijeni osjećaje o njihovim iskustvima na brodu. Najnovije izvješće za četvrto tromjesečje 2023. godine pokazuje ukupni pad indeksa sreće pomoraca na 6,36 od 10. To se dogodilo nakon indeksa sreće od 7,1 u prvom tromjesečju, pa 6,77 i 6,6 u sljedeća dva tromjesečja, a sada se nastavlja daljnji pad.

"Nakon porasta indeksa sreće pomoraca krajem 2022. godine, izazvanog ukidanjem ograničenja uzrokovanih COVID-om, vrlo je razočaravajuće vidjeti trend pada tijekom 2023.", izjavio je glavni tajnik programa The Mission to Seafarers. "Pomorci često prvi osjete svjetske krize, a ujedno i najteže", napominje on kazavši da trenutna eskalacija piratstva i ratnih sukoba pridodaje višegodišnjoj zabrinutosti zbog neodrživog opterećenja na poslu, nedovoljnog dopusta na kopnu, ograničenog odmora, financijskih problema i odvajanja od obitelji".

"Porast međunarodnih sukoba i pojačane napetosti neizbježno su očitovali određeni stupanj tjeskobe i neizvjesnosti za ljude koji rade na moru", rekao je Yves Vandenborn iz NorthStandarda, kompanije koja je jedan od sponzora istraživanja. "S globalnom radnom snagom, pomorska industrija mora biti svjesna koliko lako promjene u međunarodnim odnosima utječu na dobrobit pomoraca", navodi The Maritime Executive.

Trenutačni pad indeksa sreće potaknut je smanjenjem raspoloženja u većini područja života na brodu koje su obuhvaćene istraživanjem. Rekli su da pomorci pokazuju širok raspon razloga za pad indeksa sreće, a neki od uobičajenih razloga za zabrinutost koje su izrazili pomorci koji su sudjelovali u anketi, uključuju osjećaj preopterećenosti, podcijenjenosti i nepovezanosti, kao i zabrinutost zbog nedostatka dopusta na kopnu i nemogućnost kontaktiranja obitelji. Financijske brige pokazuju komentari o stagnaciji plaća.

Thom Herbert, viši pomorski nadzornik i zagovornik dobrobiti posade u Idwalu, drugom sponzoru istraživanja, nazvao je najnovije rezultate "razočaravajućima". Komentirao je da vide nastavak negativnog trenda tijekom 2023. godine, nakon očitih poboljšanja u 2022. kada je svijet izašao iz pandemije.

Jedino područje koje je pokazalo poboljšanje u rezultatima odnosi se na povezanost na brodu, u čemu utjecaja imaju ulaganja brodarskih kompanija u satelitske veze i druge oblike komunikacije, ističe The Maritime Executive.

The Mission for Seafarer ukazuje na probleme s kojima se brodarske tvrtke mogu pozabaviti, uključujući nedostatak društvene interakcije i rastući osjećaj izolacije među članovima posade. Pozivaju na izgradnju osjećaja zajedništva na brodu.

Organizacija nastavlja raditi s brodarskim tvrtkama na rješavanju problema koji i dalje utječu na dobrobit pomoraca. Oni pružaju izravnu podršku pomorcima kroz posjete brodovima i imaju digitalna rješenja koja pomažu u rješavanju nekih problema.

Strah od eskalacije piratstva i ratnih sukoba pridonosi kontinuiranom padu Indeksa sreće pomoraca, prema najnovijem izvješću kvartalne studije o dobrobiti pomoraca, prenosi pomorac.hr. Organizacija The Mission to Seafarers koja nadzire istraživanje kaže da su rezultati izrazito zabrinjavajući za sve one koji rade na moru.

Napominju da je ovo četvrti kvartal zaredom koji pokazuje pad indeksa sreće pomoraca. Anketa mjeri dobrobit pomoraca kroz deset ključnih pitanja o njihovu poslu i životu, a osmišljena je da procijeni osjećaje o njihovim iskustvima na brodu. Najnovije izvješće za četvrto tromjesečje 2023. godine pokazuje ukupni pad indeksa sreće pomoraca na 6,36 od 10. To se dogodilo nakon indeksa sreće od 7,1 u prvom tromjesečju, pa 6,77 i 6,6 u sljedeća dva tromjesečja, a sada se nastavlja daljnji pad.

"Nakon porasta indeksa sreće pomoraca krajem 2022. godine, izazvanog ukidanjem ograničenja uzrokovanih COVID-om, vrlo je razočaravajuće vidjeti trend pada tijekom 2023.", izjavio je glavni tajnik programa The Mission to Seafarers. Strah od eskalacije piratstva i ratnih sukoba pridonosi kontinuiranom padu Indeksa sreće pomoraca, prema najnovijem izvješću kvartalne studije o dobrobiti pomoraca, prenosi pomorac.hr. Organizacija The Mission to Seafarers koja nadzire istraživanje kaže da su rezultati izrazito zabrinjavajući za sve one koji rade na moru.

Napominju da je ovo četvrti kvartal zaredom koji pokazuje pad indeksa sreće pomoraca. Anketa mjeri dobrobit pomoraca kroz deset ključnih pitanja o njihovu poslu i životu, a osmišljena je da procijeni osjećaje o njihovim iskustvima na brodu. Najnovije izvješće za četvrto tromjesečje 2023. godine pokazuje ukupni pad indeksa sreće pomoraca na 6,36 od 10. To se dogodilo nakon indeksa sreće od 7,1 u prvom tromjesečju, pa 6,77 i 6,6 u sljedeća dva tromjesečja, a sada se nastavlja daljnji pad.

"Nakon porasta indeksa sreće pomoraca krajem 2022. godine, izazvanog ukidanjem ograničenja uzrokovanih COVID-om, vrlo je razočaravajuće vidjeti trend pada tijekom 2023.", izjavio je glavni tajnik programa The Mission to Seafarers.
